Surrey Hill Valve Pit
The existing valve pit was deemed a confined space entry zone. Our client wanted to convert the to a restricted entry and construct a building over the top of the pit after removing the concrete lid that covers the existing pit. Our client also wanted to create a safer access situation into the pit by constructing a new ladder access platform.

Outcome
This project involved removing the concrete lid of an existing valve pit without disrupting the water supply. We installed a custom access platform and ladder for safe valve access and constructed a new building on top, providing a secure entry for future access. The solution enhanced safety, accessibility, and operational efficiency while maintaining the integrity of the original structure.
