Sports Ground Fencing
The client requested the supply and installation of sports ground fencing around the perimeter of the oval to prevent cricket balls from exiting the playing area and to enhance spectator safety. Additionally, chainmesh security fencing was to be installed along the Merri Creek Trail to direct pedestrian traffic and ensure safe public access. The objective was to improve overall safety for both players and the community while maintaining clear and functional access throughout the recreational space.

Challenges

Coordinating safely and efficiently with another contractor undertaking simultaneous landscaping works presented logistical challenges.

Accurately setting fence heights and alignments based on provided drawings was critical, as the fence needed to accommodate a future path installation.
Outcome
The Council and client were highly satisfied with the completed installation, which met all project requirements and expectations. The final site inspection was completed without any issues, and no punch list items were raised. Overall, the project was completed successfully and received positive feedback from all stakeholders.
